We would like to extend a massive congratulations to our incredible Eagles who participated in the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2023.
Approximately 31 of our Eagles took to the streets of Dublin for this prestigious event, and their performances were nothing short of outstanding, with numerous personal bests and a display of courage and determination.
6 Eagles broke the coveted sub-3-hour barrier, Vivian Foley, Anthony McCarthy, Kevin Gilleece, Mark Murphy, Catherine Murphy, and Trevor O' Donovan, a remarkable achievement, congratulations.
Denis Browne, Karen O'Sullivan, and Sinead Power made their impressive debut marathon appearances, always an amazing achievement.
We would also like to congratulate the dedication of Ken Mulcahy on his 30th Dublin Marathon and Martin Leahy who despite injury was out to enjoy the run and offer encouragement to all the Eagles along the way.
A heartfelt thanks go out to all our runners, coaches, photographers, supporters, volunteers and well-wishers who made this event both possible & special. Our photographers Derek Costelle, Joe Murphy & Graham Meikle were all over the course and spent hours in the rain to take photos for all of the participants. Derek I know has spent many more hours gathering these into a flicker album also. Thank you also to Maressa Mills for the Reels on Instagram and the pre-marathon build up through social media.
